I grew up in Hemet, CA home of the Ryan Air Attack base (Former Tanker Town USA, Top Mudd). I began going to the base at the age of 6 and was immediately hooked on the action. I would go down to the departure end of the runway and watched as these heavy tankers roared into the air sometimes barely over the fence. The passion I have for aerial fire fighting has grown over the years and was the driving force behind this business.
Surface 2 Air design was started as a way to pay tribute to the men and women of aerial fire fighting. My designs are inspired by their fearless response to protect lives and property while faced with the unpredictable actions of fierce wildfires.
